What did you think I meant? Ahem.
Okay, this isn’t a post about jiu-jitsu either, but still.

Hello dear readers!
It’s Monday, and isn’t it grand?! Meh, okay, it’s just Monday. And for some, it’s just another day ending in why.
Anyway, I have some news…
Here’s an oldie but a goodie: Possum Kingdom by The Toadies.
I have always been drawn to this song. The darkness of it, the seductive story, the driving bass. It spoke to me when I was younger, and it still speaks to me now.
I assumed it was about a vampire coaxing a young woman to be his undead wife…but after actually watching the video for the first time in, well, in a long time, I realize that might not be the storyline. It always has been–and will remain–that in my mind though.
What say you? Vampire tryst or no?
Did you know you can tour the inside of Bran Castle? (See link below.) That’s the castle famous for being the home of none other than Bram Stoker’s Count Dracula himself. And do note that I said Count Dracula and not Vlad Tepes (aka Vlad the Impaler aka Vlad Dracul). Dear Vlad never lived there. In fact, it is thought that he likely never even stepped foot inside that castle.
Throwback Thursday…
To that one time when I amazed my friends by pouring hot wax on my tongue while dressed as a vampire cat from outer space (Halloween 1999 or 2000).
Party. On.
