The first vampire novel I remember reading was a pretty obvious choice, at least for my generation: Interview with the Vampire, by Anne Rice. I was twenty-something, living in Chicago and Anne Rice’s words and imagery were exactly the elixirs I needed and didn’t even know I’d been looking for my whole life.
I should say, draggin’. I’m draggin’ today friends.
Have you heard of 55 Fiction? It’s a flash fiction contest run by a newspaper out in California every year. Flash fiction is stories that are extremely short, like 6 words to 1,000, sometimes more, depending on who’s asking.
Today, I’m going to chat about a book I read. I am not a great reviewer. I am not concise and I don’t always get into the symbolism, etc. But, I know when I’ve enjoyed a book, and I can tell you, I just enjoyed this book.
What did you think I meant? Ahem.
Okay, this isn’t a post about jiu-jitsu either, but still.
