Happy MCA Day dear readers. I know there’s another really famous day people are celebrating today, but I’ve seen some animosity online about it (I guess we’re all getting a bit touchy) so I’m choosing to celebrate a different special day this year. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, MCA (Adam Yauch) from the Beastie Boys died (far too young) on May 4th, 2012.
And out of his early passing an effort was put together to get people to do something creative and to put their gratitude out into the world every year on May 4th. I mean, it’s a good thing to do anyway, but specifically to honor MCA’s life on this day.
So today, I will write about vampires and I will listen to Beastie Boys super loud while I do it. And, I will be thankful that I am well and able to spend time doing what I love.
